The "top 100" web sites which offer themselves over plain http
The "Why No HTTPS?" site purports to show the "top 100" web sites which offer themselves over plain http, without redirecting to https. The site is designed to "shame" web sites into disabling http-only access.. It is supposed to be generated nightly. However, it has not been updated since August of 2021, and spot checking of the site list frozen on 8/21/2021 show that many have already switched to https. The site also offers interesting arguments for using https. |
