Home | HTTP only

I'm are building a web site that will be usable by older browsers over http.

Hopefully this will enable some people with very old computers to get some benefit from the web. So a desire for those old dusty computers to have some more life.

I also cringe at the cost of over-encryption and overly-high hardware requirements for accessing relatively simple, straightforward, and important information. In the end, the communication of written and visual information does not require the overwrought technology that has evolved in the past 30 years, primarily to support the commercial use of the web - to wit, advertising, social media addition, monetization, advertising design.

At some point I hope to have some metrics for these assertions, but for how, I'll be resting the work on these assertions.
